Delia Trifle
Delia trifle with me
If all I can do is be in love with you whatt can I do when you’re in another’s hand?
He’ll take so much more care of you than I but…
Delia trifle with me, just once in them eyes I feel anything could last
Sure I should be a good boy but Delia he never got the girl, just got blown apart
Iv told’em love isn’t good for me I’ve nothing within me but a sex drive
The twists and turns of your sweet Helter Skelter body babe, to me it’s a rhapsody I’d be no good for love I’m made of stone.
He’s with you all hours you need. Me? I’d cut you off babe, but I do wish Delia you’d trifle with me for nothing’s sweeter then a plate you made
Things could have been different if only I didn’t wear such fucked up clothes and you’d not find a better man than me
Your bodies a beautiful rhapsody and I ask you once more, I’m sure it’s in vain Delia trifle with me.
I wanted to write you my love even if in vain

I feel this is more of a performance piece and would work better on the page if was trimmed . Also , some more usage of metaphor would enhance the poetic quality .
funny different
again a poem of unflinching honesty and humorous with it. I think its a briliant hook 'Delia trifle with me' and I like that 'I'm mdae of stone' line. Also like the street/casual language - can imagine this being spoken. your writing si really moving at the mo, Peter, guess its shrugging off all the UNi course wrok finally??
