Remembrance Service x

Everyday another memory triggered,
Another way, some more of the heart ache figured.
All around, angle wings flutter
Some don't get it, leave there mouths muzzled,
They can't cope, drown there souls an guzzle,
Get ready, stand tall, join up this jig saw puzzle.
All help out clear up the muck, or before we know it, we'll end up stuck.
Living hell, and the price is high,
Stand talla, look up to the sky,
In God we trust, let him not pass us by!
For all them brave soldiers whose lives were took, where a poppy, and where it with pride!
Love you Lee, I know your flying high, feel you every day, by my side!

Remembrance Service

I love this! For someone who's only been writing for about 6 months, it's a very accomplished piece! I especially love the emotional honesty of it! You were obviously very close to your brother and that love and respect really shines through in this poem.

As I mentioned to you last night, I've also had friends and family members engaged in wars like Iraq and this has been written with a tremendous degree of courage.

Hope that's an okay analysis!

Thank You

Aww thank you Nadrock, it is a lovel analysis x

war

you lost a brother in war and this poem shows clearly hwo the pain stays with you. the line 'another line triggered' is particularly poignant due to the extra menaing ther eof the word 'triggered'.
